The power is in training your body to become, & then stay strong

Active Therapy Sessions

Physiotherapy management of musculoskeletal pain and injury encompasses a variety of techniques. Sometimes we need to focus a little bit more on the active component of your treatment, over the more passive modalities such as massage and mobilisation.

These treatment sessions are conducted Down Under, in our exercise and rehabilitation base at 31 Argyle Place. You will be guided safely through different exercises to help you and your body unlearn, and then relearn efficient movement patterns that load the body appropriately and effectively, actively managing your injury.

These treatment sessions can also simply aim to get you fitter, stronger and more resilient to load that is placed on your body. The advantage of having these sessions with your physiotherapist is that they understand your body - the imbalances, the sensitive areas, and can adapt your training to encompass these considerations

Clinical Pilates

Have you always wanted to try Pilates but weren’t sure where to start? Do you have niggling lower back pain, a weak core, or feel like your mobility just isn’t what it used to be? Clinical Pilates for Beginners is the perfect place to begin.
Clinical Pilates is a mind-body movement approach that focuses on initiating movement from a central core, specifically the lumbo-pelvic region. It’s designed to improve core strength, flexibility, endurance, posture, and body awareness, while addressing muscle imbalances.
Our physiotherapist Georgia, trained through the Australian Physiotherapy Pilates Institute (APPI), delivers a tailored approach that considers your individual body, movement patterns, and rehab goals. Classes are run weekly on a Tuesday at 10:30am in our exercise and rehabilitation base at our Clinic.
