The power is in training your body to become, & then stay strong

Clinical Pilates

Do you have niggling lower back pain, a weak core, or feel like your mobility isn’t what it used to be?

Clinical Pilates for Beginners is the perfect place to start. From there, you can progress into the Beginners Progressed class, and finally the Intermediate class.

Our Pilates classes take a mind-body movement approach, focusing on initiating movement from a central core, specifically the lumbo-pelvic region. They’re designed to improve core strength, flexibility, endurance, posture, and body awareness, while addressing muscle imbalances.

Our physiotherapists, Carly & Mhairi, trained through Dance Medicine Australia (DMA) and the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI), deliveriing a tailored approach that considers your individual body, movement patterns, and rehab goals.

Class or 1:1 — which is right for you?

Our small classes are a great way to build strength and movement confidence in a supportive group setting, with close supervision to ensure safe, effective technique. If you’re managing a specific injury, complex condition, or want a programme built entirely around your individual goals, a 1:1 session offers focused, personalised attention from your physiotherapist — and can be a helpful starting point before joining a class, or run alongside your classes for extra progress.

Classes run weekly:

  • Beginners Progressed: Friday at 9:45am; Wednesday at 5pm

  • Intermediate: Wednesday at 6pm

Brawn Blokes

We have something for the blokes too. This is a functional strength class, led by a physiotherapist, designed to introduce you to — or fine-tune — your lifting technique and bring the enjoyment back to weights training.

This class welcomes men of all ages and experience levels, but we especially want to reach those who have reached a certain age and thought it was time to ditch the weights in favour of gentler exercise.

The way we structure our training helps you build strength for everyday movement patterns, improve balance and coordination, and regain the mobility and postural endurance you need for whatever life throws at you.

Strength training also compliments other sporting hobbies such as golf, tennis and cycling, helping you drive further, be more agile around the court, or stay in the saddle for longer.
